Samsung is gearing up to launch a refurbished version of the Galaxy Note 7. The phablet has recently received certification from the FCC and was spotted on Geekbench and GFXBench, which showed the same specifications as the original model. However, it appears that a second, faster variant, is also in the works.

The new Geekbench listing shows Galaxy Note 7R featuring Samsung's Exynos 8895, the same SoC that is inside the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. Whether or not Samsung will launch this variant is unknown, but the company has updated OS to Android Nougat and it might also update its hardware.
