Lenovo's new low-cost Moto C smartphone begins at just $97. The handset is one of the cheapest Moto handsets ever made and it'll be released this spring in Latin America, Europe, and through the Asia Pacific region.

Exact availability dates and a list of countries that'll get the phone haven't been provided.

The base Moto C comes with a 5-inch 854x480 display, a MediaTek quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, up to 32 GB of expandable storage, and a 2350 mAh battery. You can get a 3G version for €89 and a 4G version for £99.

If you have more to spend, the Moto C Plus offers a 5-inch 720p display, up to 32 GB of storage, a quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, and a 4000 mAh battery. It starts at €119 for 16 GB of storage.
