Powertech Technology (PTI), Walton Advanced Engineering and Formosa Advanced Technologies (FATC) have reported sequential growth in revenues for June 2011 of 2.9%, 0.8% and 1.7%, respectively.
PTI registered NT$3.5 billion (US$121 million) in June consolidated revenues, a monthly record. Consolidated sales for the second half of 2011 amounted to NT$10.26 billion, rising 7.4% on quarter.
Walton generated NT$753 million in June consolidated sales. Consolidated revenues for the second quarter grew 6.8% sequentially to NT$2.22 billion.
FATC's June revenues increased 1.7% from the previous month to NT$1.15 billion. The company collected NT$3.34 billion in second-quarter revenues, up 10.3% sequentially.
Despite growth in second-quarter sales, PTI and Walton have reiterated their less optimistic outlook for the third quarter, citing slower-than-expected growth in demand for mobile DRAM. Both expect to report flat to low-single digit growth sequentially in revenues for the third quarter.
