Memory module firm Transcend Information has reported June consolidated revenues increased 6.5% sequentially to NT$1.53 billion (US$50.3 million), driven by robust sales of industrial SSDs.
Industrial products accounted for as high as 42.1% of Transcend's total revenues in June, with industrial SSD sales reaching the highest monthly for 2018.
Meanwhile, sales of Transcend's consumer flash devices accounted for 22.2% of company revenues in June, followed by those of strategic products with 18.1%, and DRAM modules with 17.6%.
Fellow memory module company Adata Technology posted June revenues of NT$2.51 billion, down 15.2% on month. Consolidated sales for the first half of 2018 totaled NT$15.89 billion, up 0.4% on year, while sales of its DRAM modules climbed nearly 20% from a year earlier to NT$9.82 billion.
