Advence Printed Circuit Board (APCB) expects to see 30% on-year revenue growth at both of its Taiwan and China plants in 2010 on demand for notebook related PCBs, according to the company.
APCB's current orders remain at levels similar to those for fourth-quarter 2009, with stable PCB demand from the notebook webcam, light bar, touch panel and mini PCB markets, said the company. Monthly revenues of APCB's touch panel boards were only about NT$8-10 million (US$251,820-314,780) in 2009, but this segment has already contributed more than NT$20 million to the company in January 2010. Moreover, LED packaging boards, CMOS packaging boards and newly added DRAM module broads all have potential to grow in 2010, the company added.
The company's China plant supplies DRAM module boards to Samsung Electronics, with monthly revenues of 1-2 million yuan (US$146,400-292,800).
APCB has reported consolidated revenues of NT$419 million for December 2009, lower than its earlier expectation of NT$450 million. The company expects revenues to reach NT$500 million in January, NT$1.4 billion in the first quarter, and the year's high in the third quarter.
