Silicon Power Computer & Communications (SPCC), a Taiwan-based maker of memory products and external hard disk drives (HDDs) mainly for own-brand sale, will list on Taiwan's over-the-counter (OTC) stock market on June 19 at a tentative price of NT$30 (US$1) per share, according to the company.
SPCC began production of NAND flash products in 2003 and stepped into DRAM in 2007-2008, the company noted.
Among SPCC's product lines, NAND flash-based memory cards and pen drives account for 80% of its revenues currently, DRAM for 10% and SSDs and external HDDs for 10%, the company indicated. In terms of markets, Europe and Russia account for 47% of revenues, followed by Asia (except China and Taiwan) with 36%, Taiwan with 10%, China with 3.5% and North and Latin America with 2.5%, SPCC pointed out.
SPCC recorded consolidated revenues of NT$6.47 billion (US$216 million), net profit of NT$239 million and net EPS of NT$4.69 in 2011.
