DRAM makers Nanya Technology and Inotera Memories had revenues for July decreasing on month by 21.16% and 7.22% respectively, while fellow maker Powerchip Technology saw on-month growth of 2.92%, according to the companies.
The sequential decrease in revenues was due to decreased shipments and drops in DRAM contract price, Nanya and Inotera indicated.
Powerchip's on-month growth was due to increased orders for wafer foundry service, the company pointed out. Powerchip has received orders for foundry service with shipments scheduled until the end of 2012, the company noted.
