DRAM chipmakers Nanya Technology and Inotera Memories both saw their September 2012 revenues decrease on month and on year.
Nanya has announced September revenues of NT$1.86 billion (US$63.6 million), down 11.7% on month. Compared to NT$2.57 billion a year ago, the figure for September 2012 showed a 27.5% decline.
Nanya accumulated NT$25.45 billion in revenues from January through September, down 13.8% from the same period of 2011.
Inotera has reported revenues of NT$2.8 billion for September 2012, down 2.1% on month and 2.9% from a year earlier. Revenues amounted to NT$26.18 billion for the first nine months of 2012, an 8.7% decrease on year.
The pair is scheduled to hold an investors conference on October 24 to discuss their performance in the third quarter.
