Memory module maker Transcend Information has announced net profits of NT$931 million (US$31.8 million) on revenues of revenues of NT$6.68 billion for the third quarter of 2012. The earnings translated into an EPS of NT$2.16 for the quarter.

For the first three quarters of 2012, the company posted revenues of NT$18.7 billion, and net profits of NT$2.27 billion, while EPS stood at NT$5.26, according to a company filing with the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE).

The company also announced that it will set up a subsidiary in Hong Kong for market expansion.
