MediaTek has reported revenues of NT$6.09 billion (US$205.1 million) for February, down 27.9% sequentially and 2.2% on year. For the first two months of 2013, revenues amounted to NT$14.55 billion, increasing 27.7% from a year earlier.

MediaTek said previously that its revenues for the first quarter of 2013 will reach NT$21.9-24 billion, down 10-18% from the previous quarter.

MediaTek is expected to see its revenues return to over NT$8 billion in March with shipments of smartphone solutions to top 15 million units, compared to 11 and eight million units shipped in January and February, respectively, according to a Chinese language Economic Daily News (EDN) report.
