Nanya Technology has announced the US International Trade Commission (ITC) has made a final ruling in favor of the company in a patent infringement lawsuit brought against it and other chip companies by LSI.
Nanya said the ITC has affirmed it and other accused companies that no violation was found in the case, No. 337-648, brought by LSI.
LSI in April 2008 filed a complaint with the ITC against Nanya, Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC), ProMOS Technologies and others, accusing these chip companies of infringing its US Patent No. 5,227,335 related to the metallization of tungsten in computer chips.
Nanya shares closed at NT$31.30 on March 23, up NT$0.35 from a day before.
