With the success of HTC One, the company has launched a new mid-range smartphone in the Desire range that has several of the new Sense 5 features. The Desire 600 features a 4.5-inch display with 960 x 540 pixels resolution, a Snapdragon 200 chipset that packs four Cortex-A5 CPUs clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB RAM, Adreno 203 GPU, dual SIM slots, an 8-megapixel 720p rear camera and a 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera for video calling. Moving on, there is 8 GB of non-expandable memory and a 1,860 mAh battery.
The device also has very similar design as HTC One, featuring dual front-facing speakers and Beats Audio integration, resulting in a lovely music sound. It runs Android Jelly Bean OS with Sense 5 UI, which includes the BlinkFeed screen. This means we have updates and info from social networking accounts and over 1,400 media sources. In terms of connectivity, the phone has 3G with HSDPA connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, NFC and GPS.
The HTC Desire 600 will be available in Russia, Ukraine and MEA from early June 2013, at a yet-to-be-announced price.
