Chinese smartphone maker and supplier to European brands such as Thompson, Umeox, is almost ready with a groundbreaking new device, the Umeox X5. Built in the 4~4.5-inch range, the device is just 5.6 mm-thick, making it run for the slimmest Android smartphone in existence.

The device measures 118 x 60 x 5.6 mm. Its other specifications remain under the wraps, but given that it runs the latest Android 4.2 "Jelly Bean" operating system, it should have some pretty decent hardware to keep up with its system requirements.
The Umeox X5 could debut in its home market of China first, and make its way to the various regional brands the company supplies to.
