Chinese manufacturer sent out invitations over the past weekend, inviting many to the launch event of the company's first 'Mini' branded phone. Get ready to welcome the ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini, a not-so-mini version of the company's flagship ZTE Nubia Z5 Smartphone.
The ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini will pack a 4.7" HD (1280 x 720) display), not small enough to qualify as a mini (if you take the screen size of the Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini into account), a 1.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC, 2 GB of RAM and an 8 MP rear facing camera. Despite being small in dimensions (except the thickness): 134.8 x 65.7 x 10.3mm, the Nubia Z5 Mini is heavy at 160 grams. Thankfully, ZTE has managed to pack the latest Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS on their to-be-announced device, driving away most of our late-software woes.
