US-based InFocus has launched two smartphones, the IN610 and IN810, in the Taiwan market, with unlocked prices set at NT$11,900 (US$398) and NT$13,900, respectively.
InFocus aims to become one of the top-five smartphone brands in Taiwan within two years, as well as one of the top-10 vendors in China within three years, according to company chairman John Hui.
The IN610 is equipped with a Sharp 6.1-inch 720p display, a MediaTek 1.2GHz quad-core MT6589 CPU and a 4,050mAh lithium battery, while the IN810 comes with a Sharp 5-inch 1080p display, a Qualcomm 1.7GHz Snapdragon APQ8064 CPU and a 2,200mAh lithium battery,
InFocus is promoting its smartphones in cooperation with Chunghwa Telecom (CHT), while outsourcing production to FIH Mobile (formerly FIH International Holdings). |
