Casio has launched a new addition to their growing compact digital camera lineup. The new model, dubbed the Casio EX-ZR800, packs a 16 megapixel sensor, features HDR and five-axis stabilization to eliminate that last millisecond blurriness that your hand movement adds to the image while taking the shot itself. The EX-ZR800 offers 18X zoom, uses Casio's Exilim engine, packs ISO 25,600 sensitivity for taking shots at night. The list of features continues with 1080p H.264 video recording at 30fps, a f/3.5-7.0 lens aperture and an innovative "triple shot" which clicks and saves a picture even before you hit the shutter (there's something new).
The Casio EX-ZR800 won't come in cheap though, with retail pricing set for 40,000 Yen (roughly $400). People in Japan who fancy this camera have the option of picking up a red, black or white version post August 23rd, the official launch date.
