Fresh reports from the Korean media highlight that LG is working on a third-generation LG Vu Smartphone. The square shaped device with an aspect ratio identical to the Apple iPad never really caught on in the west, but something makes LG go back to it again and again. The leaked specifications of the LG Vu III (as expected) belong to the high-end category, save for a not-so-high resolution display.
The leaked specifications list reveal a Snapdragon 800 SoC, 5.2-inch (4:3 aspect ratio) 1280 x 960 display, a 13 MP rear camera, support for the new blazing fast LTE Advanced network and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box. There's no word on the official launch date, but LG could unveil the device next month at IFA 2013. |
