Quanta Computer and Compal Electronics have each landed about 40% of Acer's notebook orders for 2014, relegating Wistron, the second-largest supplier to Acer in 2013, to third place, according to a Chinese-language Apply Daily report.

　　Acer is estimated to ship 21-22 million notebooks in 2014 with Quanta and Compal each handling 8-9 million units, the paper said.

　　Wistron will handle 3-4 million notebooks for Acer (15-20%) in 2014, down from 6-7 million (35%) in 2013, the paper noted.
