MediaTek has reported revenues of NT$12.75 billion (US$425.21 million) for August, down 3.56% sequentially but up 38.31% on year. For the first eight months of 2013, revenues totaled NT$83.2 billion, increasing 35.27% from a year earlier.

　　For the July-August period, MediaTek revenues reached NT$25.97 billion, only NT$8.93 billion short of its low-end sales target of NT$34.9-37.6 billion set for the third quarter.

　　MediaTek's shipments of smartphone solutions are expected to reach 67 million units in the third quarter of 2013, better than the company's forecast of 60-65 million units, according to a Chinese-language United Evening News report.
