In addition to the Fonepad Note 6, ASUS made additions to its bigger 8-inch class and 10-inch class tablet families, with the MeMO Pad 8 and MeMO Pad 10. Both these tablets are designed to 'look' good, but be light on the wallet, true to its roots.
The MeMO Pad 8, which measures just 127 mm side-to-side, features a very slim bezel, framing its 8-inch display. The IPS display features 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, and 10-point multi-touch. It features a 5-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing one. Under the hood, the MeMO Pad 8 runs an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core CPU clocked at 1.60 GHz, wired to 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of expandable storage, 3,950 mAh battery, and with Android 4.2.2 "Jelly Bean" at the helm. Measuring 212.4 x 127.4 x 9.95 mm, it weighs 350 g.
Moving on, the MeMO Pad 10 is essentially a stretched out MeMO Pad 8. Its 10.1-inch IPS LCD screen features the same 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, and 10-point multi-touch. Under the hood, it runs the same 1.60 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip, with 1 GB of RAM, but 8 GB and 16 GB expandable storage options, and a 5,070 mAh battery. Android 4.2.2 "Jelly Bean" is at the helm here, as well. Measuring 256 x 174.6 x 10.5 mm, it weighs 522 g.
