As PC-use DRAM spot prices have risen over 30% due to tight supply arising from a fire accident at SK Hynix's 12-inch fab in eastern China, DRAM maker Inotera Memories is expected to benefit from hikes in PC-use DRAM contract prices for fourth-quarter 2013 while DRAM module maker Adata Technology's profit margins for its 2.5-month inventory replenished in August will grow, according to Chinese-language newspaper Economic Daily News (EDN).
As a result, Inotera will generate net profit of NT$10-12 billion (US$333-400 million) and net EPS of NT$2.0-2.5 for 2013, while Adata will bring in net profit of over NT$3.1 billion and net EPS of over NT$13, EDN indicated. |
