LG Display has begun the mass production of their flexible OLED displays, which also happens to be the world's first bendable panel to (confirmed) enter into mass production. The panel itself is just 0.44mm thin and reportedly weighs under 7.2 grams. The display is said to be vertically concave and is 5.5-inch long when measured diagonally. The rumored screen resolution is a not-so-impressive 720p HD (1280 x 720).
Samsung too is expected to announce their own Smartphone with a flexible display, although we are yet to hear more development stories about that one.
