Samsung Mobile senior vice president David Eun announced at Samsung Developers Conference event, that his company is shipping 1 million mobile devices daily, on average. Those 1 million include everything from smartphones, to non-Android dumb-phones, and tablets. In its most recent quarterly results, Samsung announced that it shipped about 89 million "intelligent handsets," broad term for smartphones, tablets, and non-Android handsets, which strengthens Eun's "one million a day" claim.
