Notebook ODM Compal Electronics had consolidated revenues of NT$62.774 billion (US$2.13 billion) for October 2013, increasing 1.35% on month and 3.91% on year, while fellow makers Inventec and Wistron saw October consolidated revenues of NT$44.980 billion, slipping on month by 5.39%, and 45.602 billion, down 22.16%, respectively.
Inventec shipped 1.9 million notebooks in October, dipping 10% on month. The company shipped 16.3 million units during January-October.
Wistron shipped 1.8 million notebooks, 1.35 million desktops, eight million tablets, one million hand-held devices, 200,000 LCD TVs, 160,000 servers and 850,000 LCD monitors in October.
Compal, Inventec, Wistron had January-October consolidated revenues of NT$562.047 billion, growing 0.37% on year, NT$371.441 billion, up 10.66%, and NT$544.551 billion, up 3.41%, respectively.
Meanwhile, Asustek Computer saw consolidated revenues of NT$41.522 billion for October, down 1.4% sequentially, but up 5.31% on year, and NT$374.104 billion for January-October, up 3.05% on year. |
