The largest Taiwan-based notebook ODM Quanta Computer shipped 3.7 million units in October, slipping 7.5% on month, according to the company.

　　Quanta shipped 34.7 million notebooks during January-October, 78.86% of its 2013 target shipments of 44 million units.

　　Quanta posted consolidated revenues of NT$78.556 billion (US$2.66 billion) for October, increasing 3.17% on month but decreasing 22.4% on year, and NT$687.421 billion for January-October, dropping 18.92% on year. The on-month growth in October consolidated revenues was mainly due to increased tablet shipments.
