Notebook shipments in Europe are expected to rebound in the near future as many brand vendors have recently started preparing inventory for the market's year-end shopping season. Among European countries, Germany is expected to see the strongest growth, according to the sources from the upstream supply chain.
  Since Lenovo has already acquired Germany-based PC brand Medion, the sources are optimistic about China-based vendor's orders for the Europe PC market.
  The sources pointed that their shipments to Europe has started turning strong recently and expect the growth to be sustained into 2014.
  Taiwan-based second-tier notebook maker Clevo also pointed out that 40% of its revenues in the third quarter were contributed by the Europe market, a new historical high and many of its high-end gaming models have enjoyed strong demand from countries such as Germany, the UK and Russia since August.
  Samsung Electronics, which has been aggressive in the Europe market, is expected to turn to focus on pushing its handheld devices such as tablets and smartphones in the region, away from entry-level and mid-range notebook product lines.
