Although Apple intended iPhone 5C as the company's first "cheap" smartphone, its price made it very unpopular. The demand for iPhone 5C is that low that even Foxconn Electronics will stop production of the iPhone 5c at its factory in Zhengzhou and switch to iPhone 5S.
According to industry sources, DigiTimes has reported that Foxconn will shift the capacity to iPhone 5S. However, according to China-based ctechcn.com, Foxconn will not stop production of iPhone 5C but will reduce its output even more than what we've already reported. Either way, it looks like Apple needs to do something with the price of iPhone 5C or they'll have to face even lower demand.
