Innolux is expected to release new HCG/WCG Ultra HD TV panels in 2014, according to industry sources.

　　The company is expected to supply mainly China-based TV vendors with the technology, including units sized 50-, 58- and 65-inch.

　　Innolux also expects its Ultra HD TV panel shipments to fall between 800,000-1 million units, including low-cost Ultra HD TV panels sized 39-, 40- and 42-inch.

　　The sources said Innolux's Ultra HD TV panel lineup will allow the company to meet a wide range of demand from various customers and compete with other makers such as AU Optronics (AUO) and LG Display.

　　However, one of Innolux's most popular Ultra HD TV panels sized 50-inch may face challenges from China panel makers in 2014 as they plan to produce 48- and 49-inch units, the sources added.
