Nokia's ongoing patent war with HTC has been around for quite a while now. Having caused troubles to the Taiwanese firm in the past by forcing them to change several components inside their flagship Smartphone (the radio and microphone inside the HTC One), this time round, its the HTC One Mini that is facing the music. A key ruling in Nokia's favor today has led to a ban on the sale of the One Mini, effective December 6th, in the UK.
With HTC already facing the heat (this winter) with dipping sales forecasts and falling revenues, this is just the kind of setback that the company doesn't need at the moment. Not that Nokia cares.
