Taiwan-based DRAM maker Inotera Memories saw its November revenues soar 117.3% from a year ago while revenues at Nanya Technology grew 33.7% on year, according to financial data released by the companies.
On a sequential basis, Inotera's sales for November registered a 6.4% increase from October while Nanya posted a sales drop of 12.6%.
Inotera reported November revenues of NT$6.455 billion (US$218 million). Accumulated 2013 sales through November amounted to NT$50.85 billion, rising 58.3% from a year earlier.
Nanya generated November revenues of NT$3.85 billion. Cumulative 2013 revenues through November totaled NT$42.785 billion, up 35.31% on year.
Market watchers expect Inotera to enjoy another quarter of record sales in the fourth quarter of 2013. The firm saw its third-quarter revenues hit an all-time high of NT$16.94 billion.
Nanya has guided that revenues for the fourth quarter of 2013 will see double-digit sequential growth, citing rising DRAM prices and the company's improved product mix. |
