Quanta Computer shipped 4.4 million ODM notebooks in November, increasing 18.9% on month, according to the company.

　　The growth was mainly due to a significant increase in shipments to Hewlett-Packard (HP), Quanta indicated. Quanta expects notebook shipments in the fourth quarter to rise by less than 10% on quarter.

　　While November's shipments of Kindle Fire devices to Amazon increased considerably on month, Quanta believes it will not be able to hit its target shipments of 20 million tablets for 2013 because performance for Google's second-generation Nexus 7 has been below expectations.

　　Quanta on December 10 reported consolidated revenues of NT$98.392 billion (US$3.32 billion) for November, rising 25.25% on month and 9.77% on year, and NT$785.814 billion for January-November, dropping 16.18% on year.
