Samsung Tomorrow today unveiled that the company's 2014 lineup of high-end Smart TVs will include a new way of controlling videos playing on the TV. No, we aren't talking about voice control, which could also make its way into Smart TVs in the near future. But for early 2014, the first wave of Smart TVs from Samsung will include point-to-control videos. You can pause a video with a spinning motion of your finger, which is a whole new level of gesture control as compared to last year's models, where you required full hand gestures to execute commands. Let us hope that the features work as advertised, and not become a mere irritating or frustrating element which takes twice the time as using the remote would.
The new range of Smart TVs will be on display at CES 2014.
