A hundred million, picture that! Samsung will have sold 100 million Galaxy S4 smartphones by the end of 2013, says a report by Korean publication FNNNews. The same publication also mentioned (as our earlier article points out), that it will have sold 40 million tablets.
100 million is significant given the fact that the Galaxy S4 will have only been around for 3 out of 4 quarters (it was launched in Q2), and that 2013 has been a hectic year for high-end smartphones, with the likes of Sony, HTC, LG, and Nokia coming out with smartphones that are extremely competitive with Samsung's comparatively cookie-cutter looking contraption. |
