Taiwan Mobile (TWM) has launched three new Amazing own-brand smartphones, the A5C, A6S and A7, for the entry-level segment in Taiwan. The Taiwan-based mobile telecom operator also released one own-brand tablet, the P5.

　　The company expects sales of own-brand smartphones to reach 500,000 units in 2014, accounting for 25% of total smartphone sales, according to company president Cliff Lai.

　　Sales of the P5 tablet are expected to top 50,000 units in 2014, Lai added.

　　Taiwan Mobile also plans to launch 4G smartphones supporting 700MHz in the first half of 2014 with prices ranging NT$5,000-10,000 (US$168-336), Lai added.
