Taiwanese company HTC is on a down slide, and nothing seems to be working well enough to turn the tides in their favor. Despite selling off Beats Audio for $85 million, HTC has posted a loss of $52 million for Q4 2013. These numbers would have been a lot uglier if the company hadn't sold off Beats Audio, which is now a former asset. Total revenue fell to $1.6 billion, which doesn't paint the entire picture. Despite launching a new phablet, complete with a premium design a fingerprint scanner at the rear of the device, HTC has been having to fight lawsuits and sales bans that just aren't helping.
