Touch panel makers are seeing increased orders from Sony for notebook touch panels.

　　GIS and AU Optronics (AUO) are seeing the vast majority of touch panel orders for new notebooks Sony has released. Previously, AUO was Sony's main supplier but due to price competition and market strategy, Sony has been allocating orders to other touch panel makers.

　　Meanwhile, touch notebook supply chains are continuing to face pressure from notebook vendors for low-price solutions as price competition in the notebook segment continues to strengthen.
