MediaTek has reported revenues of NT$12.84 billion (US$423.76 million) for January 2014, down 1.9% sequentially but up 52% on year.

　　MediaTek has projected revenues to decrease 2-10% sequentially in the first quarter of 2014 due to seasonal factors. The smartphone solution vendor posted revenues of NT$39.08 billion in fourth-quarter 2013.

　　First-quarter gross margin is expected to reach 46.5%, buoyed by increasing shipments of its 8-core smartphone solutions, MediaTek said earlier.
