Quanta Computer shipped 3.6 million notebooks in January, decreasing 10% sequentially, while Compal Electronics shipped 2.8 million units, slipping 37.8%, according to the companies.
  Quanta saw January consolidated revenues of NT$72.038 billion (US$2.38 billion) dip 23.85% sequentially but grow 2.61% on year, while Compal had NT$53.474 billion in January consolidated revenues, dropping 17.32% on month and 6.49% on year.
  Meanwhile, Wistron said it shipped 1.4 million notebooks, 1.3 million desktops, 1.1 million hand-held devices, 650,000 LCD monitors, 200,000 LCD TVs and 130,000 servers in January. Wistron posted January consolidated revenues of NT$39.036 billion, falling 19.08% sequentially and 26.28% on year.
  Pegatron shipped 1.1 million notebooks in January, with consolidated revenues for the month reaching NT$91.525 billion, up 3.54% sequentially and 3.93% on year.
