Samsung today announced the latest addition to its ever expanding lineup of Galaxy Smartphones. The Galaxy Core LTE, as the name suggests, is an LTE-enabled device that will go up against other entry-level droids. Powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, Samsung has fitted the new Galaxy Core with a 4.5-inch qHD (960 x 540) resolution PLS display, 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of expandable storage and a 5 MP rear camera that is capable of capturing video at 1080p. Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean runs the show, while the battery department is taken care of by a 2,100 mAh unit.
In certain regions across the world, Samsung's new device will be called the Galaxy Core 4G. A European launch, alongside select Asian countries and Russia, is on for later this month. Retail pricing is yet to be revealed. |
