ASUS today announced a new PadFone model. The new PadFone Infinity Lite is a toned down version of the PadFone Infinity 2, powered by a slower 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 SoC (instead of a Snapdragon 800). The phone packs a 5-inch 1080p display, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a 13 MP rear camera, a 2,400 mAh battery and (rather disappointing) Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
Of course, there's the companion dock, featuring a 10.1-inch 1080p display and an extra 5,000 mAh battery juice. ASUS's new PadFone Infinity Lite will go on sale this March, exclusively in Taiwan, for 13,990 TWD (roughly $465). No word on an international release as of yet.
