Nokia's VP for Mobile Phone marketing, Jussi Nevanlinna, announced today that the new Nokia X range won't be coming to North America (the US and Canada), Korea or Japan. No hardcore reason has been mentioned to back their decision, but it is perhaps due to the contract-phone oriented market in these countries, leaving only a small market for entry-level handsets.
Nevanlinna also mentioned that more phones will be added to the Nokia X family throughout 2014. A high-end handset? |
