HTC has unveiled the pricing of their newly announced Desire 816 in China. Despite being a mid-ranger, this device packs many specifications that can be considered to be high-end, the new Desire 816 will cost under $300 (¥1799) in the aforementioned country.
The device is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 SoC, coupled with 1.5 GB of RAM, 13 MP rear and 5 MP front cameras, 8 GB of expandable storage, HTC BoomSound, 4G LTE support, 2,600 mAh battery, optional Dual SIM and Android Jelly Bean running HTC Sense 5.5 UI. Dressed with a lovely new design, the Desire 816 weighs only 165g (despite its big display), and is 7.99mm thick.
Here's hoping for a similar pricing when it comes to the rest of the world.
