Word is that Intel's 64-bit Atom chip might be at the helm of driving Google's next Nexus tablet, which is most likely to be the Nexus 10 successor (or a Nexus 8, which has been roaming around rumorland for months now). The 64-bit "Moorefield" chip, based on Intel's 22nm 3D transistor manufacturing tech, might be clocked as high as 2.3 GHz for all four cores, feature a PowerVR G6430 GPU and Intel's own LTE solution with support for LTE Advanced connectivity.
An Intel powered Nexus tablet, if it ain't as real as a unicorn, might get announced at Google I/O later this year.
