Fancy a new Surface 2 tablet with LTE connectivity? Well, your only choice in the near future will be AT&T. At present, the Surface 2 is selling for $549, sans LTE. AT&T wants to change the landscape with an LTE-enabled version, which will be launched within the next few days, for a steep price of $679. Bear in mind, you're paying top dollar for a 10.1-inch tablet that is powered by a Snapdragon 800 chipset and runs Windows 8.1 RT, not the x86 version. We would suggest that you rather pick up a Surface or Surface Pro 2 instead for around the same amount. However, if you absolutely must have LTE on your Windows tablet, this would be a good option. |
