Without much fanfare, Apple sold its 500 millionth iPhone. Since the introduction of the original Smartphone by Steve Jobs, over 500 million units of the iconic device has been sold all across the globe. Analysts believe that the 600 million mark will be achieved before the end of 2014 itself, which would be another feat worth commending.
