AT&T has spilled the beans on the ASUS Padfone X. The Taiwanese company first announced the Padfone X at CES earlier this year. However, the company left us wanting by not revealing any of the device's specifications, at least not officially. Enter AT&T, ASUS's carrier partner who will be releasing the device in the US in the near future.
Anyways, coming to the Padfone X, the device allegedly packs a 5-inch 1080p display, 13 MP rear and 2 MP front cameras, 16 GB of expandable storage, 2 GB of RAM and a 2,300 mAh battery. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 800 SoC clocked at 2.3 GHz. Android KitKat runs the show.
The Padfone X comes with a tablet dock, which sports a 9-inch 1080p display and an additional 4,990 mAh battery. Pretty sweet, huh? No word on pricing as of yet. However, we do know that AT&T will be releasing the combo sometime in Q2 2014. |
