Apple has launched TD-LTE connectivity compatible variants of its popular tablets, the iPad Air and the iPad Mini with Retina display, in China. WiFi + Cellular variants already exist in the Chinese market, with support for both GSM and CDMA networks, but the new TD-LTE variants open up access to much faster data speeds.
The base iPad Air model with 16 GB storage is priced at 4,488 Yuan, with the internal storage doubled for every 700 Yuan hike in price. Similarly, the iPad Mini 16 GB costs 3,788 Yuan, with the same 700 Yuan increment for doubling of internal storage. |
