Back in January this year, we had a chance to hear a few details regarding the Amazon's Fire TV set-top box. After three months, Amazon has finally announced the Fire TV device along with some game footage that will be exclusive to the device and Kindle Fire tablets.
The tiny streaming device is already available for purchasing for only $99. Under the hood, it features a quad-core Qualcomm processor, 2 GB of RAM, a dedicated graphics processor and dual-band Wi-Fi. The device will allow you to stream media content from services such as Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, Vimeo along with the ability to stream content from your Amazon library.
The box comes with really small dimensions and can sit almost anywhere. A Bluetooth remote is in charge for all the navigation and has a built-in microphone for voice search. For extra $40, users can get an optional Fire Game Controller. If you don't want to spend extra money, you can play games through remote controller or with phone or tablet app.
Regarding the games, Gameloft announces it will offer Despicable Me: Minion Rush, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and Modern Combat 4 which can be seen below in the video.
