Battery problems and fire risk in new devices are not quite isolated cases as we are getting more and more burnt devices. In released statement, Sony urged customers to stop using their new VAIO Fit 11A released in February due to a battery fire risk.

　　Sony also stated it had shipped 25,905 of the VAIO Fit 11A in 52 countries since its launch, including 497 in the U.S., 7,158 in Europe, 2,088 in China and 3,619 in Japan. We can expect a formal recall shortly.
