A few months ago, Google and Motorola were almost the same company. After Lenovo bought Motorola, Google is rumoured to challenge the extremely successful Moto G device with the upcoming budget-friendly Nexus smartphone that will not cost more than $99.
According to Chinese website MTKSJ, who is dedicated to MediaTek news, Google has made an agreement with MediaTek to launch a budget smartphone that will compete with the Motorola Moto G. It will use some of the MediaTek's low-cost processors, but nothing more is familiar at the moment. However, take this news with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed, yet. |
